I have a dual monitor set-up. I have a ATI Radeon x1650 and I recently use Windows 7 at my computer.
Windows 7’s Display Settings allows you to control both your monitors. how to set up? just click "windows button + P".
you will find menu just like shown bellow:
You can designate any one of the two monitors as your PC’s Primary Display. clck "duplicate" to simply mirrored the screen from my first monitor. However, this was not the behavior I wanted. so I clicked “Extend” to add usable desktop space.
So what do I use my second monitor for? I am open Firefox to look facebook at main monitor, and do my work with MS word at another monitor. I occasionally have Windows Media Player opened up and playing on the second monitor while I work as well.
